Riddell, James and John Berry "The Farce of Fashion" London Riddle Books 1945 Patent Applied For Hard Cover Very Good No DJ Issued Color Illustrations A very unique book of riddles. The Farce of Fashion makes its point by splitting color illustrated and prose pages horizontally which changes the fashions and riddles dependent on how they are turned. Difficult to explain but once seen you'll be turning pages just for the laughs. Lightly soiled inside both covers and pages are tanning. Patent applied for #24053/45 which I have taken as 1945. Heavy cardboard boards have illustration to cover. Back is soiled and edges are worn. Flaps (as those of a DJ) are attached to covers outside edges. Classic British humor! Price:
