NY Duell, Sloan and Pearce 1948 First Edition Stated Hard Cover Good Good
This is the first novel of this author. It is set in a post war veteran's hospital and tells the stories of emotion and resolve verteran found themselves then and now.This book was once an American Library book stamped 15 cents first 3 days 5 cents each add'l day. It was covered in brittle clear cover which had pretty much cracked to the point only the edges were left. The top of DJ spine and portion of back cover were removed as well. Back cover is lightly soiled. The same price info. was taped to the cover of DJ which had been cut to fit the covering. It has now been placed in new Brodart. The black cloth covered book is lightly worn to edges. There are light stamp marks to upper and lower page edges and pages inside both covered are lightly. There is a short review on flap of DJ by Anne Morrow Lindberge
