Black cloth boards with green lettering to spine and front cover which includes illustration. PO library label on illustrated FFEP. Deckled page edges are very lightly soiled. Frontis and seven illustrations in color and 16 in B/W. Pages are remarkably clean and tight. Barely exposed webbing at page 53 which was probably a favorite B/W illustrtion of a mother squirrel and her sleeping babies. Price clipped DJ has edge wear, is lightly soiled with stain near front spine. Now in Brodart.
