Navy cloth boards have light scuffs to head/heel of spine. Body of book is as new. Unclipped DJ has edgewear and is now in Brodart. In 1853 the University of Rochester was a four story building in downtown Rochester, New York. At the time of this writing it was a sprawling campus made up of 8 schools and colleges of 3 campuses. A great gift for any U of R graduate.

Near Fine in Very Good jacket Signed by Author Blue linen-like cloth boards. Vol. 12 of the Centers of Civilization Series. Book is as new except for gift inscription by author to Henry Clune, noted author and newsman from Rochester, NY. It is inscribed "to the watcher of the Genesee from a watcher of the Danube" on FFEP. Clune made many underlings and margin notes in this, his personal copy. DJ is lightly soiled with edge wear. Now protected with Brodart.
