Dark brown leather-like boards with scuffs to head and heel of spine. A few tiny dark spots on back of Frontis. Pages are very tight, clean and unmarked. Unclipped DJ is scuffed to covers. Edge wear was mended with tape by previous owner. Chip and tear to lower back cover was not. Now in Brodart. "The author describes his struggle in the university, the church and other social institutions with the McCarthyism of the 1940's and 1950's, and relates the problems of that period to current trends."
