Near Fine in Very Good jacket Black spine to grey boards. Silver lettering to spine only. Few small spots to covers and gutter at spine edges. Very slightly discolored inside both covers. No marks and book is tight and clean. DJ is lightly soiled and sun faded. One small puncture at spine edge and head/heel wear. Now in Brodart protection. This book is a hoot from the DJ on! Author's irreverant approach to the real nitty gritty of operas is enhanced by the whimsical illustrations of Charles Fisher. A winner if you're willing to laugh at the reality. This is great '50s humor.
